About the event
Two magical minstrels from opposite sides of the globe come together for a week of unique performances in Ireland. Jesse McCormack - an eccentric Troubadour from Tasmania - and Kristina Nygårds - born and raised in Dalarna; the cultural heart of Sweden - will showcase the edgy-yet-exquisite sounds of Nordic folk music, plus highlights of Jesse's many recorded projects from Australia, utilising a rhythmic blend of violin and Celtic bouzouki, and passionate vocal harmonies.
