The internationally acclaimed musician, poet and artist returns - bringing songs, stories and visions to navigate the shadows of human experience. Jo Beth Young (FKA Talitha Rise/RISE) is a hidden gem rising from the alt/neo-folk and prog scenes. Inspired by her home in the West of Ireland, her ethereal vocals and mesmeric musical style have been enrapturing and provoking deep emotional responses from audiences since her 2018 debut album An Abandoned Orchid House and 2019’s follow-up Strangers.
Writing from a place of raw authenticity, her poetic world comes armed with lullabies and battle cries interwoven. At times heartbreaking, but always hopeful and inspiring in the end. Her live shows are known to bring deep, emotional magic to the audience, capturing the attention of the national press who have described her live shows as "unmissable" and “exquisite”.
