Land & Sea and Surfriders "Take Action for the Ocean" Event

The Land & Sea and Surfrider fundraiser "Take Action for the Ocean" event on October 21st at The Attic in Hotel Doolin at 7pm is set to be an inspiring and informative evening dedicated to ocean conservation. Surfrider’s #takeactionfortheocean campaign is aimed at helping all the stakeholders to develop an understanding regarding the consequences of poor water quality in Ireland,especially for ocean conservation by also collaborating with Fair Seas and Sea Shepard Ireland. The event includes presentations, film screenings and a panel discussion with Senator Roisín Garvey, Jack O’Donovan Trá from Fair Seas, Fergal Smith from Moyhill Farm, Nikola Busse from Sea Shepard, Stephen Byrne from Snawve, & Sarah Hegarty from Surfrider. 

Surfrider Foundation Europe will continue its campaign on the legislative level by pushing for an  ambitious revision of current practices in Ireland that are failing to meet the EU standards.
